Vice President of Training

Position Summary

The Vice President of Training is a senior enterprise learning and development executive responsible for designing and executing the organization’s general training strategy, workforce capability agenda, and leadership development programs.

The role ensures that employees, managers, and executives have the skills, knowledge, and capabilities required to execute business strategy and support organizational growth. The Vice President oversees leadership development, professional and technical training, onboarding, compliance learning, digital learning, training technology, learning analytics, and enterprise capability transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Training Strategy

Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise training and learning strategy aligned with corporate objectives.

Establish training priorities based on business strategy, workforce requirements, and capability gaps.

Build scalable learning frameworks across functions, business units, and geographic markets.

Define training KPIs, governance standards,



and long-term capability objectives.

2. Leadership & Executive Development

Design and oversee leadership-development programs for managers, senior leaders, and executives.

Develop succession, leadership-readiness, and high-potential development initiatives in partnership with HR.

Build capabilities in strategic leadership, decision-making, communication, innovation, and organizational management.

Evaluate leadership programs based on measurable organizational outcomes.

3. Workforce Capability Development

Assess current and future workforce capabilities required to support business growth.

Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs to address them.

Establish career-development and continuous-learning frameworks.

Align training investments with workforce planning and talent strategies.

4. Digital Learning & Training Technology
