About the Role
We are looking for an Asset Management Intern to join our Technical Asset Management team and support the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of our renewable asset portfolio.
Reporting to the Director of Technical Asset Management and working closely with the Asset Management team, you will gain hands-on experience in the operational and technical management of renewable energy assets, contributing to performance analysis, reporting, data management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Management & Performance
- Performance Monitoring: Support the monitoring, calculation, and reporting of key KPIs such as Performance Ratio (PR), availability, and productivity of solar installations.
- Incident Follow-up: Assist in monitoring operational incidents and significant faults, supporting their follow-up and the preparation of reports for internal stakeholders.
- O&M; Coordination:
Support coordination with operations and maintenance teams to follow up on operational activities, maintenance interventions, and spare parts requirements.
Technical Analysis & Optimization
- Asset Optimization: Support the analysis of asset performance to identify opportunities to maximize energy production, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
- Data Intelligence: Assist in the analysis of operational data using digital tools, dashboards, and AI-based solutions to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Technical Due Diligence: Provide support in the technical assessment of potential acquisitions and new renewable energy projects.
Commercial & Contractual Management
- Technical Reporting: Support the preparation of periodic technical and performance reports for asset owners, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Contract Follow-up: Assist the team in monitoring technical obligations and milestones related to O&M; agreements, EPC contracts, PPAs, and insurance policies.
- Warranty Management: Support the follow-up of warranty claims with equipment manufacturers and the monitoring of interventions covered under warranty.
Compliance & Sustainability
- Regulatory Compliance: Support the monitoring of applicable technical regulations and grid operator requirements across the markets where Prosolia operates.
- ESG Management: Assist in the preparation of sustainability information, external audits, and monitoring of environmental requirements and permits.
- Cybersecurity: Support the monitoring of SCADA systems and digital platforms, contributing to the integrity and quality of operational data.
Innovation & Strategic Development
- Digital Transformation: Participate in digitalization initiatives and the evaluation of new technologies and tools for renewable asset management.
- Lifecycle Management:
Support technical analyses related to asset lifecycle management, including repowering opportunities, equipment replacement, and technological upgrades.
Required Profile
Experience & Education
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Energy, Renewable Energy, or related field).
- Interest in the renewable energy sector, particularly photovoltaic solar energy.
- Previous internship, academic project, or experience related to renewable energy, data analysis, engineering, or asset management will be considered a plus.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools; familiarity with SCADA monitoring systems will be considered an advantage.
Technical Competencies
- Basic understanding of photovoltaic systems and renewable energy technologies.
- Interest in learning about performance indicators such as Performance Ratio, availability, production, and energy yield.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and ability to work with technical and operational data.
- Interest in energy markets, renewable energy regulation, and asset management.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Python, data analytics, or similar tools will be considered a plus.

Employment Conditions
- Mode: On-site in Valencia.
- Reporting: Director of Technical Asset Management.
- Scope: Support the management of a portfolio of ~300 assets in Spain, Portugal, and France.
