OVERVIEW:

In our mission to lead the transformation of the energy market, we are currently looking for a Corporate Risk Manager to support our Corporate Risk function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Corporate Risk function, this position will support the identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risks across FRV, helping embed a consistent risk management approach throughout the organisation. The role will be accountable for the following tasks:
Risk Management
- Support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process, including the identification, assessment, prioritisation and monitoring of strategic, financial, operational, regulatory and emerging risks.
- Prepare risk dashboards, heat maps, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), presentations and recurring or ad-hoc reports for management and governance forums.
- Contribute to the monitoring of emerging risks and external developments relevant to the renewable energy sector, including geopolitical, regulatory, market and operational factors.
- Maintain and update corporate and business-unit risk registers, ensuring risk descriptions, ratings, owners, mitigation actions and target dates are accurate and current. Support risk assessment workshops and meetings with risk owners, documenting outcomes and following up on mitigation actions.
- Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP), crisis preparedness and periodic risk assessments, coordinating information with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Support preparation of Annual Financial statements, including Sustainability report metrics.
Insurance Management
- Together with FRV brokers, arrange and manage insurance for development,
construction and operational assets, including solar PV, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hybrid projects and associated infrastructure. Support the FRV Global Insurance Programme renewal process on an annual basis, including exposure and claims data, submissions, insurer negotiations, coverage reviews and premium and deductible analysis.
- Advise development, engineering, construction and operations teams on insurance requirements, coverage gaps and risk mitigation.
- Review insurance provisions in EPC, O&M;, BESS, supply, PPA, offtake and other material project agreements. Ensure insurance requirements are reflected in project financing documentation and coordinate with lenders, technical advisers and insurance consultants.
- Oversee relevant brokers Service Agreements, insurance policies, including construction all risks, delay in start-up, property damage, business interruption, third-party liability, environmental liability, marine cargo, cyber and directors’ and officers’ insurance.
General responsibilities
- Assist in the continuous improvement of risk management and insurance methodologies, policies, procedures, templates and reporting tools, promoting consistent application across the organisation.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, QHSE, Operations,
Development and other functions to improve risk visibility and support risk-informed decision making.
- Support data quality, process automation and enhancements to risk reporting tools and systems.
- Other ad-hoc duties.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or a related field.
- +5 years of professional experience in risk management, insurance, internal control, consulting, business analysis or a related analytical role. Experience in Energy, infrastructure or Renewables is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with quantitative and qualitative information.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Good understanding of risk management concepts and frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000 or COSO ERM) is desirable; willingness to develop further expertise in enterprise risk management.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and fluent Spanish.

- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesize complex information for different audiences.
- Proactive, curious and collaborative mindset, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
