Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring tax and statutory compliance, managing treasury-related activities, and providing financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.

You will work closely with the Controller, FP&A;, Group Finance, auditors and external stakeholders, playing an important role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of our financial operations in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

- Month-End &
- Year-End Close: Perform monthly and annual closing activities, including accruals, provisions, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Fixed Assets &
- Inventory: Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation, as well as inventory valuation and stock-related provisions.
- Employee Expenses: Process employee expenses, corporate card transactions and related reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Tax &
- Statutory Compliance: Prepare and support VAT, withholding tax, Intrastat and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance with Spanish regulations and reporting requirements.
- Banking &
- Treasury: Perform bank reconciliations and support supplier payments and other treasury activities.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and support external and statutory audits by preparing financial documentation and responding to auditor requests.
- Financial Reporting &
- Analysis: Support revenue recognition reporting and provide financial information,



reporting and ad hoc analysis to the Controller, FP&A; and Group Finance teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting efficiency.

Qualification

- Strong professional experience in financial accounting, month-end close and statutory reporting.
- Solid knowledge of Spanish tax and statutory requirements, including VAT, withholding tax and Intrastat.
- Experience with treasury activities, bank reconciliations and audit processes.
- Experience with general ledger, fixed assets, inventory and revenue recognition.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international Finance teams.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
