About us

We are a venture-backed startup in stealth, building data infrastructure for the age of AI agents. A small, senior founding team, already working with design partners and early enterprise customers. We value judgment over process and ownership over hand-holding, and we build things that hold up under real load. We will tell you what we are building in conversation, under NDA.

The role

You will be the person who makes the company run. You work directly with the CEO and in close cooperation with the CFO, and you support everything that is not product and not selling: finance operations, people, legal and admin, vendors, tooling, the office, and the hundred small things that stop a founding team from doing its job if nobody owns them.

In practice it means onboarding every new hire so they are productive in their first week, not their first month, and keeping contracts and compliance in order across more than one country as we grow. It means picking the tools, negotiating with suppliers and making sure the Executive's time goes where it matters. And it means being the one who notices what is about to break before it does.

We run operations the way we run engineering: AI-first. You will use agents for reporting, document handling, reconciliation and the repetitive parts of admin, and stay fully accountable for the result. You will be our first operations hire, and the function will be yours to shape.

What you bring

Five or more years in operations, finance or chief-of-staff roles at startups or scale-ups, at least some of them at an early stage where you had to build the process rather than inherit it.

Fluent with numbers: you can read a P&L; and a cash-flow statement, build a budget, and have an opinion on both.



Experience working alongside a CFO or an external finance team is a plus.

Hands-on with the unglamorous side: payroll, contracts, insurance, suppliers, equipment, tax filings. You know how Spanish labour and company admin works, and you have dealt with at least one other jurisdiction.

You already use AI tools as your default way of working and can show us what you have automated and what you deliberately kept by hand.

Discretion, since you will see everything. High standards, low ego, and a strong preference for fixing a problem over describing it. Comfort with ambiguity and with the discretion stealth requires. Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish.

How we work and what we offer

We measure results and ownership, not hours, and we believe in-person time brings out our best work. Hybrid in Madrid, three office days a week together. Agents do the orchestrated work and humans stay accountable. No bullshit, radical transparency on metrics, roadmap and risks, and intensity in seasons rather than permanent burnout.

Generous equity: we want early people to share properly in a major success. High-end laptop, private health insurance, 22 working days of holiday. Compensation: a base salary at the top of the Madrid market for the role, set by how far your experience goes beyond the bar above.

How we hire

We hire for the bar, not the gap. An intro conversation with the CEO, where under NDA we share what we are building. A working session with the CFO on a real operational problem. A case: take a messy, half-finished process and show us how you would make it run. Founder conversations on values, ownership and integrity, then references.
