About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media Lead to own and grow Angel Aligner's social media presence across EMEA. You'll set the organic and paid strategy, manage the budget, lead editorial planning and build our KOL programme, turning the expertise of the doctors we work with into content that drives awareness, engagement and demand. This is a strategic yet hands-on role at the centre of a multi-market team.
You'll guide a Social Media Coordinator who handles day-to-day execution (scheduling, publishing, community management, tracking and localisation, paid campaign activation), partner with local markets, agencies and creative teams, and connect EMEA with our teams in other regions.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Performance
- Define and own the EMEA organic and paid social media strategy across platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube…), aligned with regional marketing and business objectives
- Set KPIs, track performance and deliver regular reporting to the the Digital Marketing Manager and stakeholders, turning data into clear recommendations
- Own and allocate the social media budget across organic and paid activity, optimising spend for the best return
- Select, brief and manage local agencies, ensuring quality, brand consistency and value for money
- Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines, platform policies and healthcare/medical device advertising rules in each EMEA market
Editorial & Content
- Lead the EMEA editorial calendar and support local market teams in adapting and executing it
- Plan content with doctors and internal creative, product and education teams, turning clinical expertise into engaging, accessible stories
- Organise and run content shoots, and attend key events (congresses, seminars, study clubs) to capture content
- Stay on top of platform trends, formats and features; test new approaches and scale what works
KOL & Influencer Programme
- Build the EMEA KOL programme on social: identify and onboard doctors and partners, define collaboration formats and measure impact
- Develop KOL social media guidelines (content, disclosure, compliance, brand usage) and a playbook for working with KOLs as efficiently as possible
Team & Cross-Regional Coordination
- Guide and develop the Social Media team, setting priorities and quality standards
- Coordinate social media plans with HQ and other regions (e.g. US, Brazil, Middle East) to ensure alignment, share best practices and reuse content across markets
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in social media marketing, including a strategic role in a regional or multi-market setting
Required Skills
- Proven track record building and running both organic and paid social strategies; hands-on LinkedIn & Meta Ads Manager experience required
- Experience owning budgets and reporting on performance and ROI, with a strong analytical mindset
- Strong content instinct: experience with editorial planning, content shoots and event-based content
- Comfortable working with medical/clinical stakeholders (doctors) and creative teams, and able to make complex topics simple
- Experience managing or mentoring coordinator or junior team members
- Highly organised, able to juggle several markets and priorities at once
- Fluent English; Spanish or French is a strong plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience building an influencer or KOL programme
- Experience working with international or HQ teams across regions (US, LATAM, APAC)
- Background in healthcare, dental, medtech or another regulated industry
- Knowledge of healthcare advertising rules in European markets
