I’m currently looking to speak with experienced Mechanical Engineers for a Lead Mechanical Engineer opportunity within the rapidly growing data centre and mission-critical sector.

This is a permanent position based in Spain, working on complex, large-scale data centre projects within an established international engineering environment.

You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders, making this a strong opportunity for someone looking to combine hands-on technical engineering with greater project responsibility and leadership.

We’re looking for someone with:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• 5+ years’ experience in mechanical design,

engineering and/or installation

• Strong knowledge of building services and mechanical systems

• Experience working on complex, technically demanding construction projects

• Data centre or mission-critical experience would be highly advantageous

• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams

• Strong communication skills and fluent English

• Spanish language skills would be beneficial

Location:
Spain

Salary:
€58,000 – €95,000 + package

Contract:
Permanent

For someone already working within data centres, this is an opportunity to step into a senior technical position with significant ownership. Equally, I’d be interested in speaking with strong mechanical engineers from other mission-critical or complex engineering environments who are looking to move into the data centre sector.

If you’d like to hear more about the position, projects and progression oppo
