Role Description
The Merchant Acquisition Lead – Valencia at SocialPerks is a full-time, hybrid role based in Madrid, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this position, the individual is responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing new merchant partners in the Valencia region, building a strong portfolio aligned with SocialPerks’ growth objectives. The role includes managing the end-to-end acquisition cycle: prospecting, pitching SocialPerks’ value proposition, negotiating commercial terms, and onboarding merchants onto the platform. The Merchant Acquisition Lead collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth launch of merchant campaigns and sustained partner engagement. Day-to-day tasks also involve monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, and continuously refining acquisition strategies based on market feedback and data insights.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in merchant, partner, or business acquisition, ideally within digital platforms, marketplaces, or loyalty/rewards programs.




- Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and relationship management, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close agreements effectively.
- Proficiency in market research, prospecting, and pipeline management, including the use of CRM tools and data-driven approaches.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in en_US, with strong interpersonal skills and comfort in client-facing interactions.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple accounts and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Spanish and English; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and consumer engagement trends relevant to merchant partnerships.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborating in-person in Madrid and remotely with distributed teams.
