The Investigator Relations & Recruitment Specialist (Oncology) plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and refining patient recruitment strategies for clinical trials. By collaborating closely with site staff, investigators, and internal teams, the Investigator Relations & Recruitment Specialist ensures that enrollment targets are met within established timelines. This position demands a solid understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and regulatory requirements, as well as a focus on patient-centric approaches to enhance recruitment quality and efficiency.
Develop and Implement Patient Recruitment Plans :
Formulate customized recruitment plans based on trial objectives, patient profiles, and site capabilities. Provide tools, resources, and best practices tailored to each site’s unique environment, focusing on strengthening site-level ownership of recruitment goals.
· Identify and engage community organizations, advocacy groups, and healthcare networks that can support trial awareness and patient outreach. Work closely with internal teams—such as medical affairs and marketing—to leverage educational materials, events, and digital platforms that highlight trial opportunities.
· Patient Recruitment Oversight: Monitor recruitment activities across sites, analyzing patient enrollment trends in real time. Performance Analysis and Reporting : Collect and analyze recruitment metrics—such as screen-failure rates, referral sources, and enrollment ratios—to identify trends and potential areas of improvement.
