Evinova seeks an experienced Data Engineering Architect to design and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure supporting a multi-tenant SaaS platform in life sciences. The role combines hands-on technical work with mentorship responsibilities, requiring deep AWS expertise and leadership of the data foundation team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based data lakehouse, catalog, and pipeline infrastructure on AWS
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level data engineers on platform patterns and best practices
- Establish governance frameworks including column-level security and row-level filtering
- Lead adoption of infrastructure automation, CI/CD practices, and monitoring solutions
- Collaborate with product, security, and cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives





Requirements
- 10+ years data engineering experience with SaaS and multi-tenant platform background
- Advanced AWS proficiency: Lake Formation, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis, DataZone
- Production experience with open table formats: Iceberg, Delta Lake, or S3 Tables
- Expert-level infrastructure as code with AWS CDK (TypeScript) and CloudFormation
- Strong proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration
- Demonstrated mentoring track record and technical leadership capabilities
- Python or PySpark for ETL, data modeling, and distributed transformations
