Evinova, an AstraZeneca health-tech venture, seeks a Senior Principal AI Consultant to design and deploy generative AI and machine learning solutions that accelerate clinical drug development. The role combines algorithm development with business strategy, serving both internal initiatives and consulting engagements in life sciences.
Responsibilities
- Present AI initiative progress to senior leadership and translate technical outcomes into business value
- Build and deploy generative AI, machine learning, and optimization solutions for pharmaceutical applications
- Act as translator between AI capabilities and clinical/pharmaceutical requirements across cross-functional teams
- Support algorithm design and agentic AI development leveraging modern frameworks and coding assistants

Requirements




- 5+ years designing algorithms and applied AI/ML solutions with demonstrated business impact
- Consultancy background with focus on data/AI initiatives and client engagement
- Advanced experience building generative AI solutions using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Expert proficiency in Python, pandas, scikit-learn, and data processing methodologies
- Demonstrated ability managing stakeholders in high-stakes contexts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Pharma or life sciences industry experience (preferred but not required)
