- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple legal entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review trial balances, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Coordinate statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Support VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings alongside external advisors.
- Liaise with outsourced accounting providers and monitor service delivery performance.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is prepared and available.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and local regulations.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization projects.
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global finance teams.
- Participate in finance transformation and system implementation projects.
- Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP, VAT regulations, and statutory accounting requirements.
- Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes.
- Proven ability to work within an international and fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting audits and working with external advisors.
- Exposure to shared service centers and/or outsourced accounting providers is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, organizational,
and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Fluent English and Spanish are essential.
- Catalan or additional European languages will be considered a plus.
- Experience within multinational companies is highly valued.
