To strengthen our technical planning and project execution teams, we are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Building Engineer / Technical Office Engineer (Ingeniero/a Edificación Oficina Técnica) to join our headquarters in Marbella, Spain.

In this technical role, you will play a pivotal part in site studies, project scheduling, economic oversight, and on-site quality control across national and international hotel developments.

Specifically, you will prepare competitive tender packages, draft precision measurements and cost estimates, coordinate MEP systems, inspect civil and architectural works on-site, and manage subcontractor delivery to ensure adherence to budget, timeline, and quality targets.

Job Description: Building Engineer – Technical Office (Fuerte Group) Your Mission: Engineering Precision, Technical Tendering & On-Site Execution Your primary goal involves driving total technical rigor, budget control, and schedule adherence across large-scale hospitality construction and renovation projects.

To achieve this, you will bridge technical office design with practical on-site construction management.

At the same time, you will keep project budgets, bill of quantities (BOQs), and contractor certifications aligned with corporate standards.

Therefore, you will draft comprehensive tender proposals, review structural and MEP installations, inspect building milestones on-site, and track costs in SIGRID.

As a result, you will eliminate construction delays and protect our organization’s standard for architectural excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:



* Hotel Project Planning & Economic Control: Lead technical studies, site installation planning, and scheduling; optimize resources per trade package; and oversee economic tracking, delivery schedules, purchase orders, and documentation control. * Technical Design & Scope Review: Review and draft comprehensive technical documentation across every construction stage, including demolition, foundations, structures, masonry, cladding, interior fit-outs, landscaping, FF&E;, and operating equipment. * Tenders & Technical Office Delivery: Prepare competitive tender submissions for FG Construcción, producing complete technical reports, architectural drawings, project schedules, and itemized cost breakdowns. * Measurements & Installations Oversight: Draft precision quantity take-offs (mediciones), formulate detailed budgets, verify MEP (instalaciones) designs, and produce drafting plans. * On-Site Coordination & Site Visits: Conduct technical site inspections to monitor civil works and architectural finishes, authoring action reports to address discrepancies immediately. * Subcontractor & Partner Management: Supervise, coordinate, and contract specialized trade subcontractors and suppliers, enforcing quality benchmarks established by Fuerte Group.

Who You Are: The Versatile Construction & Technical Specialist * Educational Background: You hold a Degree in Technical Architecture (Arquitectura Técnica) or Building Engineering (Ingeniería de Edificación).

Postgraduate training,



certifications in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), construction management, or PMI (PMP/CAPM) are valued. * Proven Foundations: You bring at least 2 to 3 years of demonstrable professional experience combining technical office design work and active on-site construction supervision. * Technical & Software Mastery: You demonstrate hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, general office suites, and specialized construction cost/ERP software (specifically SIGRID). * Cost & Trade Control: You possess expertise in budget planning, quantity surveying, cost variance tracking, schedule oversight, and subcontractor negotiation. * The Linguist: You display B1-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish to support national and international project documentation. * Mobility & Logistics: You hold a valid driver’s license, own a vehicle, and are available for occasional travel to regional or international project sites. * Key Competencies: You demonstrate analytical precision, rigorous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and decisive leadership on active job sites.
