Senior Contract Specialist – International Energy Project

Contract management has greater impact when it goes beyond administration. In this role, you will help ensure that complex contractual activities, financial follow-up and critical documentation move forward with accuracy, traceability and sound judgement.
We are looking for a Senior Contract Specialist to join a long-term international project connected to the European energy sector. You will work in a highly structured and regulated environment, supporting the implementation and management of framework contracts and other contractual processes.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable navigating contractual and financial information, coordinating multiple stakeholders and maintaining a clear view of priorities across several active contracts. English is the working language for meetings, documentation and day-to-day communication.

What you will do
Prepare and review contractual, financial and supporting documentation.
Monitor contracts and maintain planning, financial and reporting information.
Support the preparation and implementation of new contracts, amendments and extensions.
Collect and analyse financial data, including cash flow, payment forecasts, cost estimates and cost-impact assessments.
Manage invoice and payment-processing follow-up.
Prepare and coordinate contract-related meetings, minutes and action tracking.
Ensure contractual documentation is properly organised, traceable and ready for audit or archiving purposes.




Coordinate contractual activities and reporting with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
What we are looking for
A university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Auditing, Law, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of professional experience in contract management, procurement or related contractual functions.
Proven experience working with contractual and financial documentation.
Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Analytical thinking and the ability to manage financial data, planning information and reporting with precision.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously.
Strong written communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience in public procurement, public administration, EU institutions or other highly regulated environments will be highly valued.
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory. You will use English daily in meetings, documentation and professional communications.
What you will find

A permanent contract and working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00.
A predominantly remote Be Flex working model from Barcelona, with approximately one in-person meeting per month at the client’s premises.
