About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Finance team in Valencia. This position will play a key role in supporting accounting operations across multiple European entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely execution of accounting processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with local Finance leadership and international accounting teams in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate accounting and recording of transactions based on contracts, invoices, bank statements, and tax assessments.
Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Review portfolio financial performance, including rental income, operating expenses, G&A;, and balance sheet accounts.
Prepare management reports, statutory financial statements, and ad hoc financial analyses.
Support compliance requirements, including VAT filings, tax returns, and financial reporting obligations.
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and related-party balances.
Ensure timely execution of intragroup service agreements and cost recharges.
Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and third-party service providers.
Participate in strategic projects,



including acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Audit.
English Level C1 (mandatory). The role operates in an international environment and requires daily communication in English.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
Previous experience supporting statutory audits.
Proven ability to prepare, post, and reconcile accounting entries and financial records.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within international teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience within the Real Estate sector.
Knowledge of an additional European language.
Experience working in multinational organizations.
