Experteer Overview
In this role, you will extend and optimize the Atlas InSAR processing chain and build new features for our satellite-based ground deformation products. You will work at the intersection of remote sensing, geophysics, and applied machine learning to deliver robust, production-ready tools. You’ll collaborate with geophysicists and engineers to translate research into scalable solutions that help monitor infrastructure and natural hazards. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position with a focus on real-world performance and cross-functional teamwork.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, develop, and optimize InSAR processing components
• Implement new features to expand processing capabilities and product offerings
• Design and deploy CNN-based models for phase unwrapping, atmospheric correction, anomaly/deformation detection, and signal classification
• Handle large volumes of SAR/Interferometric data and build scalable data pipelines
• Collaborate with geophysicists, radar engineers,
and software developers to productionize research
• Validate model outputs against ground truth and iterate based on performance
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Responsabilidades
• MSc/PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Applied Mathematics or related field
• Hands-on ML experience with CNNs and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Strong Python and scientific computing skills (NumPy, SciPy, xarray)
• Experience with geospatial/remotely sensed data; SAR/InSAR experience is a plus
• Familiarity with signal/image processing techniques
• Ability to work with large datasets and build production-grade pipelines
• Strong analytical mindset and independent problem-solving
• Excellent English communication skills
