Experteer Overview
In this role you lead end-to-end electrical system design for utility-scale power transmission projects, supporting Ramboll’s mission to enable a sustainable energy future. You will operate within the international Power Systems team across electrification, offshore wind, data centers, and large-scale infrastructure, shaping technical concepts and guiding client and industry dialogue. You drive design excellence, grid integration, and OE for major installations, aligning with cross-functional teams and leading stakeholders to successful project delivery. This is an impact-position offering a global platform to influence grid-connected assets and the energy transition.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead electrical system design from feasibility through construction
• Develop optimized technical designs to connect utility-scale assets to the grid
• Facilitate technical dialogue with TSO and DSO to address design requirements
• Oversee engineering and quality assurance for large power installations, including tendering and contractor oversight
• Collaborate with engineering, specialists, and project management to optimize client outcomes




• Manage interaction with the client's senior technical leadership
• Develop scalable technical concepts across projects and clients
• Engage in industry groups and networks to stay aligned with standards and market trends

Responsabilidades
• Strong OEM experience with hands-on modelling
• Deep expertise with grid-forming equipment and FACTS (e.g., e-STATCOMs, frequency converters)
• Experience in electrical system design and modelling using PowerFactory and PSCAD
• Hands-on experience with grid compliance and grid integration for utility-scale installations (BESS, renewables, data centers)
• Excellent managerial skills with 5+ years leading large, complex electrical packages
• Strong communication and client management abilities
