As Legal Counsel, you will provide high‑level guidance in fintech, focusing on payments, e‑money and consumer credit to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk. You will partner with product teams to design and launch new services, assess legal risk, and advise senior leadership on regulatory requirements. The role combines legal insight with business pragmatism to support scalable product development in a fast‑growing fintech. Identify and manage legal and regulatory risks, proposing mitigations aligned with risk appetite




Provide regulatory compliance guidance on PSD2, AML/KYC, e‑money, CCD2 and related frameworks
Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership, promoting legal awareness and pragmatic guidance across the organisation
Strategic thinker with deep fintech and payments regulatory knowledge
Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE (ideally 8–10 years)
Strong knowledge of PSD2, AML/KYC, e‑money regulations and CCD2
Experience in both private practice and in‑house settings in fintech/payments
Technical understanding of fintech development processes and collaboration with engineering teams
English fluency; Italian or French is a plus
