In this role you own and optimize Metricool’s Mautic infrastructure hosted on AWS, delivering high-scale email sending through Amazon SES. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to move from firefighting to a stable, scalable system and contribute to our data platform roadmap. You’ll own system performance, reliability, and deliverability, with a focus on process improvements and documentation. This is a remote role with strong ownership and a mission to build robust, scalable infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

- Optimize Mautic infrastructure, MySQL databases under heavy load, and queues (RabbitMQ) to support millions of emails daily
- Improve Mautic processing (segments, campaigns, sending jobs) to ensure daily updates and fast sends
- Maintain system stability by monitoring, troubleshooting, and scaling to ~3M emails/day
- Tune deliverability settings (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, bounces,



complaints) and handle incident response during sends
- Triage and respond to Marketing/Product requests;
reproduce, fix, and communicate outcomes
- Maintain and evolve Mautic’s PHP/Symfony plugins and modules;
write documentation andrunbooks
- Contribute to data platform efforts (ClickHouse, Python pipelines, Go services, Aerospike) in the medium term

Requisitos principales

- Location: Spain
- Senior experience (≥5 years) in systems, infrastructure, or technical operations
- Background as senior technical support in hosting environments;
xhfqzwm servers, Linux,DNS, networking, email sending, domain reputation and security
- Proven MySQL optimization under heavy load
- English fluency (min B2);
Spanish preferred
- PHP with Symfony;
AWS (EC2, SES) experience;
email-sending infrastructure experience
