Role Definition:
Manage sales and coordinate with technical services for the assigned territories to ensure customer value and profitability. Under supervision from the Manager, receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
General Responsibilities:
Build sales team into broader, multi-product/program and customer focused territory
Accountable for development and execution of sales plan for the assigned territory
Contribute to budget and business planning processes
Coordinate technical service, marketing,
logistics and customer service teams to support the assigned territory
Manage proper stewardship of Novus resources with close adherence to annual budget and investigate cost efficiencies as identified
Build and maintain close relationships with customers to understand challenges and decision-making drivers
Participate in preparing forecast sales volumes for all product/channels for the assigned territory
Manage the CRM platform to monitor customer activity and team progress toward territory goals
Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures related to position assignment. xhfqzwm
Key Knowledge/Experience Requirements:
Advanced degree (MS/MBA) or Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience
Detailed understanding of animal protein and food industries for the assigned area;
may be recognized as expert in one or more species
Thorough knowledge of animal nutrition and health businesses for the assigned area
Demonstrated success in account management and business development
Developing ability to establish, grow and manage relationships with customers for optimum results
Proven understanding of business activities and drivers in the assigned area to effectively determine market opportunities for the team.
Skills/Competences Requirements:
Contribute to build an empowered and engaged organization adhering to Novus’ core values with ongoing training and practicing of the Novus Management System
Contribute to enhance the effectiveness of the organization
Plan the work of the assigned business, execute clear tasks with specific QQTRs, set context regularly, manage task assignment and appraisal, provide frequent timely feedback, engage in training and foster process improvement and cross-functional collaboration
Essential to be able to work under a cross-functional environment
Other Essential Requirements:
Fluent in Spanish and English
Ready to travel over 40% of the working time
