We are seeking a Consultant Contrôleur de Gestion IT to join our team in the PACA region, collaborating closely with a major client’s IT department. This role will focus on financial management within the IT sector, particularly in budget oversight and project financial analysis. The Consultant will lead the budgeting process for the IT department, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking of any discrepancies in OPEX and CAPEX. This position plays a crucial role in providing insights into IT costs and optimizing expenditure through analysis and financial reporting. You will work alongside project managers and financial teams to monitor and analyze costs related to IT projects and contribute to the enhancement of internal financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the budgeting process for the IT department, including budget creation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor the financial aspects of IT projects, focusing on business cases, cost tracking, and key milestones.
- Analyze IT costs (licensing, cloud expenses, infrastructure, and service provider costs) and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support monthly financial closures by managing provisions, analyzing expenses, and reconciling with accounting.




- Design and ensure accuracy in reporting and dashboards for the IT department and financial leadership.
- Assist in the internal reallocation of IT costs and improve financial management processes.

Required Skills
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Management Control, or Engineering.
- Relevant experience in management control, preferably in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of IT cost structures and billing models (licenses, SaaS, cloud, service providers).
- Proficiency in Excel and an ERP system (SAP preferred);
experience with BI tools (e.G., Power BI) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and financial stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
