Stay close to technology by participating in architecture and design discussions and, where relevant,

code reviews and technical investigations.
What We're Looking For Strong software engineering background combined with engineering management experience.

Background in platform engineering, developer infrastructure, developer productivity, backend infrastructure, or distributed systems .
Experience with CI/CD, developer tooling, release engineering, or internal platforms.
Strong planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to understand complex technical trade-offs without needing to be the deepest expert in every area.
Experience hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.
Pragmatic approach to processes - creating enough structure to improve execution without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
Experience with Go, Rust, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud infrastructure, observability, or AI-assisted development would be a plus
