Overview
In this Global Oncology Diagnostics leadership role, you will shape the medical strategy for pathology-based diagnostics across AstraZeneca's oncology portfolio, with a focus on digital and computational pathology. You'll drive global collaboration to advance diagnostic solutions, generate clinical evidence, and educate the lab community while leveraging real-world data. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives at major scientific forums and ensure adoption of innovative pathology platforms. This is a high-impact, collaborative role at the intersection of science, data, and patient care.
Responsabilidades
Develop and execute the global medical plan for patient identification solutions in AstraZeneca Oncology products
Implement the Oncology Diagnostics medical strategy with emphasis on digital and computational pathology platforms
Lead KEE advocacy and engagement plans in laboratory segments and manage Scientific Advisory boards
Oversee diagnostics activities at major scientific events and forums to champion digital pathology leadership




Collaborate with cross-functional partners to coordinate all Oncology diagnostic activities across regions
Support generation of real-world data for pathology diagnostic solutions using digital/computational pathology analytics
Develop medical education programs for the lab community focused on digital and computational pathology practices
Lead efforts to generate clinical evidence in collaboration with Oncology Medical Affairs
Requisitos principales MD or DO degree or PhD with 5+ years in medical affairs, general diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals, or academia with exposure to digital and/or computational pathology
MD with accredited pathology residency and subspecialty fellowship preferred
Strong life sciences foundation (e.g., Molecular Biology, Pathology) with experience in clinical companion diagnostic development
Membership in relevant diagnostics societies
5+ years of Medical Affairs experience in biotech/pharma/CRO with c
