Responsabilidades

- Design, develop and maintain scalable Java backend systems
- Build and evolve public and internal APIs with strong security and data handling
- Apply Hexagonal Architecture for modular, maintainable codebases
- Work with relational and non-relational databases (including Couchbase) for high-transaction workloads
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using observability tools (e.g., Datadog)




- Ensure high-quality code through unit/integration/E2E tests and code reviews
- Implement observability (metrics, logging, tracing) and manage technical debt
- Collaborate with frontend team, pick up Vue.js work when required, and ensure end-to-end ticket delivery
- Utilize AI coding assistants and Spec-Driven Development to guide implementation
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support cross-functional collaboration

Requisitos principales

- Extensive experience in Java backend development
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale backend solutions in AWS
- Strong RESTful API and microservices expertise
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Couchbase)
- Automated testing expertise (unit, integration, E2E), TDD, and CI/CD
- Observability skills (Datadog): metrics, logs, traces
- Familiarity with Maven, Gradle and Git-based workflows
- Strong debugging in asynchronous/multi-threaded environments
- Hands-on use of AI coding assistants for development tasks
- Analytical mindset with good time management
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
