Experteer Overview In this role you will execute risk-based internal audits across the N26 group, with a focus on the Spanish branch, and help shape the annual audit plan. You will prepare detailed audit reports, chase timely remediation of findings, and support key projects while maintaining independence. You will supervise junior auditors and liaise with external regulators as needed, applying professional standards throughout. - Support and conduct internal audit activities across the N26 group, including with external contractors and focusing on Spain's regulatory landscape
- Lead or participate in full audit cycles, managing risk and control assessments for operations' effectiveness, reliability, and compliance
- Ensure execution of the annual and multi-year audit plan for the Spanish branch
- Prepare internal audit reports with attention to scope and detail
- Contribute to risk-based annual audit plan development for business functions (product, customer operations, sales, marketing, partnerships)




- Supervise and review audit work of junior team members
- Monitor remediation progress of audit findings within defined timelines
- Participate in key projects while maintaining independence and adherence to internal audit policies
- Perform work in line with professional and regulatory standardsResponsabilidades
- Significant experience as an internal auditor in an international, regulated environment (banking or financial institution preferred)
- Familiarity with agile methods, digital product development, and data-driven audit techniques is a plus
- Experience liaising with external regulators and supervisory bodies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- High process understanding and knowledge of online banking and retail products
