Experteer Overview In this role you will provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees across Spain and Portugal, focusing on employee relations, local employment law, and people policies. You will partner with regional stakeholders to drive fair, compliant decisions and support change initiatives in an international environment. The position offers hybrid work from Madrid or Barcelona and a chance to influence HR practice in a sustainability-focused firm. - Provide proactive HR guidance to managers and employees across Spain and Portugal
- Manage employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, absence management, flexible working requests, and workplace investigations
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and company policies
- Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, consultations, and other workforce projects
- Partner with managers to address people-related challenges and build leadership capability
- Advise on HR policies, procedures,
and best practices to ensure consistent and fair decision-making
- Work closely with regional HR, Legal, and business stakeholders on complex employee matters
- Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, compensation cycles, talent planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Monitor legislative developments and provide guidance on their impact to the businessResponsabilidades
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Employee Relations role
- Strong working knowledge of Spanish employment law; knowledge of Portugueseemployment law is highly desirable
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases and advising managers
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a regional HR team
