As an Electrical Engineer at AWS, you will design robust electrical systems powering global data center infrastructure. You will lead multi-site, multi-million-dollar projects from concept to construction, collaborating across disciplines to deliver reliable, cost-efficient solutions. You’ll work with generators, UPS, switchgear, transformers, and safety systems to support world-class uptime and safety. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge equipment, general teams, and opportunities to drive innovation in a fast-growing footprint.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Design data center electrical systems and produce construction document sets
• Participate in site selection reviews and planning activities
• Design critical equipment (generators, UPS, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, earthing, life safety, fire detection)
• Collaborate with other disciplines to finalize construction documents
• Ensure designs meet quality and budget requirements
• Coordinate with regional vendors, manufacturers, and utilities
• Ensure compliance with IEC,
EU regulations and local building codes
• Review equipment submittals and provide technical support during construction and commissioning
• Lead and collaborate across global teams and multiple geographic regions
• Travel to sites for reviews, audits, and startup support
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Engineering
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities (data centers, power generation, or oil u0026 gas)
• Experience researching new designs and construction methods for data center equipment
