Experteer Overview
As Director of Core AI Engineering, you will define the technical direction and operating model for enterprise AI capabilities with high business value. You lead a small, capable team and collaborate with product, data, security, infrastructure, and engineering leaders to prove feasibility and prepare for industrialization. You will shape architecture, references, and evaluation methods while hands-on contributions in prototypes and code reviews remain key. This role sits at the intersection of product delivery and technology, driving impactful AI initiatives at scale. You will help Suntory Global Spirits unleash its spirit through advanced AI capabilities that support growth and innovation.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Set the Core AI engineering direction and roadmap, defining target architecture and engineering standards
• Define architectural boundaries, design assumptions, and decision criteria with cross-functional teams
• Make pragmatic build-vs-buy and integration decisions for AI capabilities
• Create reusable reference patterns for AI orchestration, security, observability, and context management
• Architect and validate agent runtimes, retrieval approaches, and enterprise knowledge strategies
• Prototype context-engineering, caching, tool-using AI systems, and closed-loop improvements
• Establish viable model-serving and inference designs with performance and cost considerations
• Lead discovery, prototyping, integration,



and handoff for prioritized use cases
• Remain hands-on in architecture, design reviews, and critical prototyping
• Define acceptance criteria and handoff points for industrialization with delivery and security teams
• Establish evaluation methods covering quality, safety, latency, and cost
• Partner with security and data governance to implement controls and manage risks
• Build and mentor a team of AI and platform engineers, driving architectural reviews and standards

Responsabilidades
• 12+ years of engineering, data, platform, or technology-delivery experience with leadership in complex enterprise environments
• Proven track record designing and validating enterprise AI, generative AI, or intelligent-automation capabilities with hands-on implementation
• Strong experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud/data/application platforms, and secure engineering practices
• Practical experience with AI orchestration, evaluation, observability, security, and adoption practices
• Ability to lead distributed technical teams and establish scalable engineering, DevOps, SRE, and quality practices
• Strong technical communication and decision-making skills
