Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead the global internal audit and certification program for GPQSS, guiding a multinational team to uphold safety and quality across the value chain. You will own the audit plan, develop internal auditor capabilities, and ensure timely closure of nonconformities while maintaining ISO and local standards. You’ll coordinate with external bodies on integrated certification and drive continuous improvement. This is a senior, high-impact position with global scope and autonomy.

• Lead the global Internal Audit Team to foster safety and quality excellence across the value chain
• Provide oversight of tools and approaches for business process management across functions
• Plan, execute, and report the internal audit program; support BU GI initiatives
• Identify risks and controls, recommend improvements, and communicate findings to management
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and local legislation
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes
• Lead external integrated certification with third-party bodies and represent the company during audits
• Operate within a global team to develop and shape the role within the organization
• Coordinate approximately 60 audits per year; own the global audit plan and reporting
• Train and develop internal auditors; manage findings and ensure timely closure
• Identify recurring or systemic issues and drive continuous improvement
• Monitor certification and audit performance with clear governance and communication
• Make timely decisions and maintain autonomy to move initiatives forward
Responsabilidades
• 10+ years of relevant quality, auditing, certification, or QMS experience
• Proven auditor experience, ideally with a recognized certification body (e.g., Bureau Veritas)
• Strong knowledge of standards, audit methodologies, certification requirements, and QMS
• Engineering degree preferred; substantial quality/audit expertise considered
• Experience in complex, international environments
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, global teams, auditors, and certification partners
• Professional fluency in English; additional European languages and Portuguese advantageous
• Based in Europe and able to travel internationally; valid work authorization
