Experteer Overview In this role you will advance the Atlas InSAR processing chain, maintaining and extending core capabilities while building new features for satellite-based ground deformation monitoring. You collaborate with geophysicists, radar engineers, and software developers to translate research into production-ready tools. You will apply ML to phase unwrapping, atmospheric correction, and anomaly detection on large SAR datasets, driving scalable pipelines and robust decision-support solutions. This is an hands-on, impact-focused position at the intersection of remote sensing, geophysics, and applied ML.Compensaciones / Ventajas
- Design, develop, and optimize InSAR tools and processing chain
- Implement new features to expand processing capabilities and product offerings
- Design and deploy machine learning models (e.G., CNNs) for phase unwrapping, atmospheric correction, anomaly/deformation detection, and signal classification
- Work with large volumes of SAR and interferometric data to build robust, scalable pipelines
- Collaborate with geophysicists, radar engineers,
and software developers to translate research into production-ready tools
- Validate model outputs against ground truth and domain expertise; iterate based on performance
- Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharingResponsabilidades
- Degree (MSc/PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Experience in machine learning with hands-on CNNs and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Strong Python skills; experience with NumPy, SciPy, xarray
- Experience with geospatial or remote sensing data (SAR/InSAR a strong plus)
- Familiarity with signal/image processing techniques
- Experience building production-grade data pipelines and handling large datasets
- Strong analytical mindset; ability to work independently on open-ended problems
