Experteer Overview
As a Principal Data Scientist, you will lead the evolution of our platform toward intent-based, agentic personalization. You will bridge traditional data science with advanced LLM and agentic reasoning layers, partnering with another Principal to steer research and scale capabilities. You’ll design the agentic reasoning layer around fmX models, build modular ML tooling, and translate real-time signals into robust recommendations. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role shaping intelligent, context-aware customer experiences across VistaPrint’s ecosystem.

• Bridge core ML/DS modeling with modern LLM application layers
• Lead the evolution of recommendations into Generative AI and design the agentic reasoning layer wrapping fmX models and rankers
• Architect and build ML pathways and MCP servers to expose models and data as modular tools for AI agents
• Develop an algorithmic intent layer translating real-time signals into structured intents for the recommendation pipeline
• Build advanced propensity models and customer segmentation for dynamic personas
• Influence product, engineering, and business leadership to adopt a model-driven,



agent-first approach
• Ensure models integrate with delivery systems without impacting core web vitals or caching performance

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of experience building and deploying ML models and DL systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and AI Agent Orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Strands)
• Experience with MCP servers bridging data/ML with LLM orchestrators in production
• Deep expertise in Deep Learning, LLMs, and Reinforcement Learning as applied to real-time feedback and ranking
• Proven track record building propensity models and segmentation on large-scale behavioral data
• Expert Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and SQL skills
• Strong understanding of backend/frontend data pipelines (Databricks, Snowflake, streaming features) and latency-aware delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
