Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead the technical direction for core AI capabilities spanning search, ranking, recommendations, and generative vision pipelines. You will drive scalable systems and play a pivotal role in turning research into enterprise-grade AI infrastructure for discovery and design generation. Collaborating with data science and ML engineering teams, you’ll shape models, evaluation, and product features that impact merchant outcomes and customer experiences. This is an opportunity to influence end-to-end ML products at global scale with a maker mindset and hands-on leadership.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Define and steer architectural direction for candidate retrieval, multi-objective ranking, and learning-to-rank across raw product and design recommendations
• Advance personalization by incorporating sequence embeddings from merchant history, trends, and sales signals
• Integrate downstream sales data back into upstream design generation and ranking models to improve relevancy
• Oversee image generation pipelines combining LLMs/multimodal models with diffusion, UNets, and Vision Transformers
• Enhance classical CV with deep learning vision models for delayering, background separation, and asset validation
• Own end-to-end features from model selection to serving pipelines and frontend workflows
• Prototype, iterate, and ship agentic ML pipelines and features using AI-assisted development tools
• Define online/offline evaluation frameworks (NDCG, MRR, visual quality metrics, conversion uplift)



and supervise A/B testing
• Guide make-vs-buy decisions and inference optimization across open-models and self-hosted solutions
• Mentor senior ICs, run design reviews, and foster a culture that ships measurable business impact

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling production ML systems with staff-level leadership
• Deep expertise in modern search, candidate generation, and recommendation architectures (Two-Tower, ANN indexing, Transformer rerankers, learning-to-rank)
• Hands-on CV and generative AI experience (OpenCV, CNNs, Vision Transformers, diffusion models, multimodal LLMs/CLIP)
• Proven ability to close loops by tying downstream outcomes to training and generation logic
• fluency in Python and the AI/ML stack with PyTorch; experience with LLM orchestration and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph)
• Experience with production serving (FastAPI, async processing), MLOps tools (CometML, Flyte), and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake)
• AI-assisted workflows using Gemini and Claude tools for ideation, design, and rapid prototyping
• Strong product-maker mindset; ownership of end-to-end features across the stack
• Nice-to-have: e-commerce, marketplaces, or creator platform experience
