Role Description The Merchant Acquisition Lead – Valencia is a full-time, hybrid role responsible for identifying, approaching, and onboarding new merchants to the SocialPerks platform. Based in Valencia, this position involves a mix of in-person meetings with local and regional merchants and work-from-home activities such as pipeline management, reporting, and strategy development. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting merchant presentations and product demos, negotiating commission-based partnership terms, and closing acquisition deals. The role also entails maintaining strong merchant relationships, collaborating with marketing and product teams to optimize merchant offers, monitoring performance metrics, and continuously refining acquisition strategies to meet growth targets. This position operates on a performance-driven, high-commission model with uncapped earning potential.
Qualifications
• Experience in business development, sales, or merchant acquisition, preferably in tech, e-commerce, or loyalty/discount platforms.




• Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with a track record of closing performance-based deals.
• Effective negotiation and persuasion abilities, with experience structuring commercial agreements that create value for both merchants and the platform.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly explaining product benefits to diverse merchant audiences.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships, providing ongoing support and ensuring high merchant satisfaction and retention.
• Comfort working with CRM tools and basic data analysis to track performance, segment merchants, and inform acquisition strategies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance field visits, remote work, and internal collaboration in a hybrid environment.
