In this role you will architect and build scalable, high-performance systems that enable data-driven workflows in finance. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to deliver technically sophisticated solutions. You will shape backend infrastructure, data pipelines, and orchestration for AI-enabled finance products. Responsabilidades

- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems
- Design and implement high-throughput ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
- Lead workflow orchestration using tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions
- Build and maintain REST and MCP APIs bridging data layers with front-facing apps
- Design and deploy AWS infrastructure (Serverless and Docker/ECS) to support end-to-end apps
- Champion clean,



maintainable code with testing, version control, and performance tuning
- Implement full-stack observability (e.g., Datadog) for high availability and rapid incident response

Requisitos principales

- Bachelors or Masters in CS/Engineering; PhD preferred but not required
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Familiarity with relational (Postgres, Oracle), NoSQL (DynamoDB), time-series DBs, and Snowflake
- Production experience with ETL/ELT data pipelines; strong AWS data services (S3, Lambda)
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Scripting with Bash
- Containerization with Docker
- Git proficiency
