Summary of the job

The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for building and managing business development relationships between the EMEA DC and the corresponding countries and key stakeholders and ensuring their IT needs are met. Acting as the operational interface between business units and IT, the BRM supports the translation of business needs into well-defined, feasible IT demand. The BRM keeps business value realization for the represented countries as the main focus. Has value based discussions to understand the business needs and translate them into specific demands. BRM works closely with corresponding countries and EMEA DC organizations and serves as a proxy between business and IT ensuring alignment of both strategies. They ensure all demand follows the agreed demand management process, timelines, and approvals, while working closely with the Head of BRM who owns strategic prioritization and long-term alignment.

Main activities / responsibilities

Gains and continuously develops good knowledge and understanding of existing solutions in the EMEA DC as well as detailed knowledge and understanding of the IT roadmap and strategy.

Has very good understanding of the EMEA DC organization and operative model building strong collaboration with EMEA DC counterparts.

Shape and structure business requirements to enable accurate IT sizing and assess technical feasibility to advise on solution options, tools, and constraints.

Continuously develops high knowledge and understanding of the corresponding country organization, business needs, goals and strategy and provides relevant IT solutions and recommendations.

•
Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business acting as the primary point of contact for corresponding countries for IT related requests and inquiries.

•
Ensure complete and accurate demand capture in the demand management tool and drive demand through intake, approval, and prioritization workflows.
