Overview
In this role you will plan, direct, and optimize manufacturing processes across machining, assembly and testing. You will apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve quality, cost, and delivery, and provide frontline engineering support in production. You will evaluate capital equipment, manage projects, and ensure tools, CNC programs, and fixtures meet customer demands. You will collaborate with supervisors to achieve Flowserve goals while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
Responsabilidades Investigate capital equipment proposals, justify projects, and manage expenditures
Partner with Manufacturing Supervisors to meet Flowserve goals
Specify and acquire cost-reducing factory supplies
Ensure CNC programs support new products and customer requirements
Maintain and train on CNC programming and tooling skills
Ensure tooling and fixtures are available for demand
Troubleshoot processes and equipment to minimize production delays




Contribute to profit plan and manufacturing strategic plan; track capital projects within budget
Stay updated on machine tool equipment, tooling, and methods; propose innovative throughput and quality improvements
Enforce OSHA and environmental policies; manage subcontractors accordingly
Demonstrate teamwork and respect in interactions

Requisitos principales Experience in manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, engineering drawings, instructions, and procedures
Ability to write routine and technical correspondence
Effective speaking before groups
Strong mathematical reasoning (geometry, trigonometry, algebra, statistics)
