Experteer Overview In this role you will own the timely and accurate production of financial, regulatory and safeguarding reports within a fast-paced payments environment. You will partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance and Operations to support regulatory change, data quality initiatives and continuous improvement of controls. You will act as a subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders and ensuring reporting obligations meet deadlines. This is an opportunity to contribute to financial control and governance at scale while supporting safeguarding and regulatory needs with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Compensaciones / Incentivos • Prepare, review and submit financial, regulatory and statistical returns to regulatory authorities • Own safeguarding reporting, including reconciliation of safeguarded funds and investigation of breaks • Ensure all safeguarding and regulatory reporting is accurate, reconciled and timely • Perform detailed reconciliations across accounts, ledgers, flows and reporting systems • Investigate material movements, variances and reporting anomalies • Maintain robust evidence and audit trails supporting reports • Provide SME guidance on reporting requirements to Finance and wider stakeholders • Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on the business • Support reporting systems with maintenance, data validation, UAT and testing • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls,
data quality and automation • Develop and maintain reporting procedures, control frameworks and operating docs • Support internal and external audit requests with clear explanations • Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Technology • Contribute to a culture of financial control, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
Responsabilidades • Experience in financial and regulatory reporting within banking, payments, fintech or a regulated financial institution • Understanding of safeguarding requirements, safeguarded funds and related reconciliation/reporting • Experience preparing, reviewing or validating regulatory returns • Strong financial controls, reconciliations and reporting governance • Ability to analyze large datasets and investigate discrepancies • Advanced Excel skills with complex financial data • Experience with regulatory reporting, finance or accounting systems • Experience supporting regulatory change, system enhancements, UAT or reporting automation • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet demanding deadlines • Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders • Proactive, hands-on, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Qualified Accountant or equivalent is desirable but not essential
