We are looking for an Environmental and Energy Technician to join our Occupational Health & Safety, Environment and Energy team. The successful candidate will support the company’s environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, energy-efficiency projects, and environmental management systems, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and corporate standards. The role will also involve KPI monitoring, environmental reporting, audits, waste management, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
Manage environmental aspects and impacts associated with company operations.
Coordinate waste management activities, including segregation, storage, and disposal processes.
Monitor water, energy, and natural resource consumption and propose efficiency improvements.
Prepare environmental reports, analyses, and performance indicators (KPIs).
Participate in internal and external environmental and energy audits.
Maintain environmental documentation required by the company and public authorities.
Support the implementation and maintenance of environmental and energy management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.




Investigate environmental incidents and define corrective and preventive actions.
Promote sustainability, energy-efficiency, and emissions-reduction initiatives.
Deliver environmental awareness and training programs for employees.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in environmental management, sustainability, energy management, or similar areas.

Languages
Native Spanish.
Professional English is considered an advantage.

Technical Knowledge
Environmental legislation and regulatory compliance.
Waste management practices.
ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems.
Environmental auditing processes.
Environmental aspects and impacts assessment.
