Full Stack Developer – Java OneApp (Java / Spring Boot / AWS)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot, capable of contributing across the full software delivery lifecycle within a large-scale international banking environment.

The role combines backend development, CI/CD, cloud-native platforms, observability, database performance analysis, and production support responsibilities within a highly collaborative engineering ecosystem.

This is a hands-on technical role with exposure to modern microservices architectures and cloud environments.

What you’ll do

- Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs

- Write and maintain automated test suites using Cucumber

- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

- Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to resolve performance bottlenecks

- Monitor applications and troubleshoot production issues using Dynatrace and Kibana

- Create and present release implementation plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation shared across the team





What we’re looking for

- Strong hands-on experience with:

- Java

- Spring Boot

- REST APIs

- Microservices architectures

- Experience working with:

- Kubernetes

- AWS EKS and/or OpenShift

- Experience with:

- Cucumber

- automated testing

- CI/CD pipelines

- GitHub Actions

- Solid knowledge of:

- relational databases

- SQL performance analysis

- query optimization

- Experience using:

- Dynatrace

- Kibana

- observability/monitoring tools

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Experience preparing and presenting implementation/release plans

- English level C1 or higher – mandatory

- Spanish fluent/native level or equivalent

Nice to have

- Experience in banking or high-transaction environments

- Experience supporting production systems and incident resolution

- Experience working in distributed agile teams

- Remote from other locations within Spain

This role includes participation in a 24x7 on-call support rotation, shared across a team of 5 members.
