Experteer Overview
In this role you will design, simulate and verify control and signal processing algorithms for grid-connected and off-grid power converters. You will work with modeling and HIL verification to ensure high-quality designs and timely delivery. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to maintain documentation and support validation activities. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to scalable solar power technology and advanced energy systems.

• Model the power stage of converters using simulation tools
• Design and verify control algorithms in simulation and support real-world verification
• Verify algorithms with HIL simulation systems
• Follow department work methodology and maintain documentation quality
• Ensure development deadlines are met and keep design/verification docs up to date




• Produce technical documentation and support firmware verification
• Develop and maintain HIL models and related simulations
• Analyze high-level system specifications and perform design, modeling and verification of control and signal processing algorithms

Responsabilidades
• Experience in technical writing (academic level)
• Academic experience in modeling and design of controllers for solar inverters, wind power generation, energy storage, UPS, network quality, electric mobility or electrical converters
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink, Octave, PSIM, PLECS, Simba Typhoon HIL or other HIL systems
• Knowledge of dynamic modeling and control theory
• Travel willingness (some travel)
