Experteer Overview
In this role you lead Dexcom Spain’s communications strategy, shaping the corporate narrative and regional milestones. You will manage media relations and a PR partner, while building high-impact partnerships with patient organisations. You’ll program-manage regional and national initiatives and align communications with market access to engage health authorities. You’ll amplify innovation projects into shareable case studies and lead internal communications to connect the organization with its impact. This position offers a chance to define the voice of Dexcom Spain and drive a visible, cross-functional communications agenda.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own the annual communications plan for Dexcom Spain, from corporate narrative to launch milestones and regional success stories
• Manage media relations and external PR agency, including press materials, spokesperson preparation and editorial content
• Build and govern long-term partnerships with patient organisations at national and regional level, ensuring compliance and transparency
• Project-manage strategic regional and national initiatives end-to-end with milestones, deliverables and leadership reporting
• Partner with Market Access to ensure projects are designed and communicated to strengthen Dexcom's position with health authorities across CCAA
• Provide visibility to innovation projects,
turning pilots and new care models into replicable case studies for institutional, scientific and patient audiences
• Lead internal communications to keep the organisation informed about achievements and their significance
• Define and track communication and advocacy KPIs, and report impact to the leadership team
Responsabilidades
• Experience building and running communications or patient advocacy programmes in healthcare, medtech or pharma in Spain
• Fluency in Spanish and English with ability to briefing journalists, health authorities and patient communities
• Knowledge of the Spanish healthcare system, regional decision-makers and advocacy in access
• Strong project management discipline with ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams concurrently
• Sound judgement on tone, reputation and risk with appropriate escalation when needed
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical and Commercial and to influence without direct authority
• Pragmatic, resilient with a bias toward action
• Nice to have: experience with compliance and transparency frameworks for patient organisations and comfort with digital content and health-focused social platforms
