Overview As an Embedded Software Engineer in GMVs Robotics and Onboard Autonomy team, you will help develop advanced space-grade hardware and software for ESA and commercial customers. You contribute to FPGA and digital hardware projects, embedded architectures, and onboard AI capabilities, shaping next-gen space platforms. You will work across R&D; and operational projects, collaborating with universities and technology partners to drive innovation. validation, and certification for space-grade systems * Contribute to architecture definition, technical estimates, and solution development for satellites and onboard instruments * Participate in R&D; activities exploring emerging technologies and driving innovation * Collaborate with universities, research centers, and technology partners Requisitos principales * Degree in Electrical, Industrial, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering or related field (space applications focus) * Experience in digital hardware design and development * Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) * Experience or interest in space technologies and aerospace projects * Hands-on experience with Adaptive Embedded Software Defined Radio (SDR) technologies * Collaborative mindset * Ability to work across cross-functional teams * Problem-solving and initiative in R&D; contexts * PetaLinux and embedded systems development environments * Xilinx Vivado and FPGA development * Containerization and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
