Overview As a Senior II Backend Engineer at Preply, you will shape the technical direction and drive cross-functional projects that power our global learning platform. You’ll build scalable backend services using Python/Django, integrate with third-party platforms, and mentor engineers across squads to improve performance and reliability. You’ll work closely with product, design, data teams, and security to make data-informed decisions that enhance learner-t Tutor connections. Responsabilidades

Own and drive technical vision across squads Develop backend features with Python/Django and integrate with third-party vendors Lead cross-functional initiatives involving design, data, product, security,



and engineering teams Design scalable backend systems and data pipelines, including third-party integrations Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers Improve performance, monitoring, and reliability for long-term scalability Collaborate with PMs, EMs, designers, and analysts to make data-informed decisions Champion best practices: test automation, documentation, observability, and quality-first culture

Requisitos principales
