Overview As Legal Counsel in the Business Legal team, you support cross-border consumer law matters across Europe, with a focus on Spain, Germany, France, Italy and the UK. You will advise on consumer-law applications for our websites, draft terms and conditions, and liaise with public authorities. You’ll contribute to internal know-how, monitor regulatory changes, and coach teammates, while working in a high-performing, international environment. This role offers multi-regional responsibility within a leading travel platform, enabling meaningful impact on product and customer experiences.

Responsabilidades

Advise on consumer law across websites and products, including the travel subscription programme Draft, update, and maintain terms and conditions for websites/apps and services Manage dialogues with public administrations and consumer protection authorities across key European jurisdictions Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate legal concepts into business practices Contribute to precedent bank and internal know-how guidance documents Horizon scan for upcoming regulatory changes and assist with implementation Provide training to team members and business stakeholders Manage outside counsel and budget Support other legal and business teams as needed

Requisitos principales

Degree in Law with qualification to practice in a European jurisdiction (preferably Spain, Germany, France, or the UK) Fluent in English; native/professional proficiency in a second European language (e.g., Spanish, German, French, Italian) Minimum 5+ years of professional legal experience with a consumer-law focus (private practice and/or in-house) Strong consumer-law knowledge and digital-sector experience; travel-industry experience is a plus Experience handling procedures with public administrations or in the travel industry is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and market languages; ability to draft complex legal texts Ability to manage projects, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, flexible environment Versatility to handle a wide range of matters Strong communication and influencing abilities Attention to detail and organizational skills Proactive, solution-oriented mindset Consumer law expertise across Europe Knowledge of digital and e-commerce regulatory frameworks Drafting terms and conditions and compliance documentation
