Overview

In this role you will contribute to the HW/SW integration of embedded navigation systems for defence applications. You will work within a specialized team to bridge hardware, software, signal processing and navigation algorithms across the system lifecycle. The position focuses on selecting hardware, porting and optimizing software, and validating integrated solutions on target platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-performance navigation capabilities in demanding environments. This is an opportunity to shape advanced avionics in the military domain through hands-on engineering at the intersection of hardware and software.

Responsabilidades





- Participate in HW/SW integration of embedded software for navigation systems in the defence sector
- Support hardware target selection and feasibility assessment for required algorithmic loads
- Port, optimize and deploy embedded software on chosen hardware
- Develop low-level software for embedded systems
- Contribute to testing, CI and system validation activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper hardware-software-navigation integration

Requisitos principales

- Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in embedded systems
- Experience in HW/SW integration processes for embedded systems
- Proficiency in C/C++, Git and continuous integration
- Knowledge of digital signal processing (FFT, filters)
- Experience with floating/fixed point, SIMD, cache and performance optimization
- FPGA development
- HW/SW integration activities in embedded environments
