Overview

As Sustainability Manager for Freenow by Lyft in Barcelona, you will own Europe-wide sustainability implementation and reporting, aligned with global goals and EU regulations. You’ll build data-driven infrastructure to track decarbonization progress and ensure compliant disclosures. You’ll collaborate with Legal, Finance, Ops, and Growth to embed sustainability into European business decisions. This foundational role offers the chance to shape regulatory readiness and drive scalable sustainability practices across the region.

Responsabilidades

- Own Europe’s sustainability implementation and roadmap, aligned with global goals and evolving EU rules
- Monitor EU regulatory landscape and translate requirements into actionable recommendations
- Partner with Legal to interpret regulations and assess operational impact
- Lead carbon accounting across Europe, manage data collection and decarbonization progress
- Build and maintain auditable, scalable data management systems for sustainability reporting
- Design and implement structured project management processes for initiatives




- Manage sustainability reporting for European stakeholders (CDP, EcoVadis, client requests)
- Prepare insights for senior leadership on impacts, risks, and opportunities
- Support cross-regional reporting with a European regulatory lens
- Manage relationships with consultants and reporting bodies; collaborate with Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Procurement, B2B, and Global Growth

Requisitos principales

- 4–5+ years in sustainability, strategy, or business development with proven ownership of outcomes
- Experience managing detailed, multi-stakeholder projects and building scalable processes
- Hands-on data management and carbon accounting experience
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (TCFD, CDP, EcoVadis)
- Strong understanding of EU/UK sustainability laws (CSRD, CSDDD)
- Proven stakeholder engagement with internal and external partners
- Proficiency with carbon accounting and ESG data platforms (e.g., Workiva), CDP/EcoVadis portals, Google Suite; Jira a plus
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
