- Pricing & Discount Authority: Support the design of hotel pricing policies across services. Moreover, approve or apply discretionary discounts within regulatory frameworks in the General Manager’s absence.
- VIP Care & Escalated Complaint Resolution: Personally greet and oversee high-profile VIP guests. Additionally, manage and resolve sensitive guest complaints—whether in person, on social media, or via online booking portals—to safeguard online reputation.
- Quality Audits & Operational Staging: Facilitate internal and external operational audits and implement resulting action plans. Consequently, oversee property maintenance and verify adherence to the resort’s operational setting manual.
- Leadership, Communication & Talent Development: Supervise daily departmental mini-briefings across teams to communicate goals and critical procedures. In addition, collaborate with Human Resources on staff training, performance reviews, and onboarding programs.
Who You Are: The Visionary Hospitality Leader
- Proven Foundations:
You bring at least 4 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager or Operations Director inside 5-star luxury hotels. Experience within Leading Hotels of the World or Preferred Hotels & Resorts properties is highly valued.
- Educational Background: You hold a University Degree in Tourism, Business Administration (ADE), Economics, or equivalent. Postgraduate studies from prestigious international hospitality management schools are considered a strong plus.
- The Linguist: You display C1-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish. Knowledge of additional international languages is considered a valuable asset.
- Technical Proficiency: You feel comfortable navigating hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Key Competencies: You demonstrate executive decision-making, financial analytical skills, crisis composure, emotional intelligence, and natural high-end hospitality presence.
