Project Summary

Our integration team designs and governs the API specifications exposed through our internal API gateway (800+ APIs). We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong API design expertise, not a .NET/C# developer: the role involves no coding. The work is split roughly between business analysis (30%), project management (30%) and API design (40%), in a Kanban environment.

Language(s): English (mandatory), Spanish (recommended), French (a plus)

Goals and deliverables

Main Responsibilities

- Gather and challenge business requirements and specify APIs with business, IT, architects and backend teams
- Review and validate API designs from other teams against our quality, naming and convention standards
- Create and review Pull Requests on API specifications




- Support development teams to ensure implementations match the specification
- Analyse integration workflow issues and drive resolution with the teams involved
- Take part in the API Design Authority committee and internal API community

Mandatory Experience

- Business Analyst
- API design (writing API specifications)
- Hands-on work with OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger 2.0
- Solid knowledge of REST, HTTP, response codes and API standards
- Project management skills to deliver on schedule

Preferred Experience

- Ability to write code or scripts
- At ease with production management and monitoring
- API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SAML)
