- Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair issues with key automated systems.
- Work with a network of controls to monitor material handling equipment (MHE) metrics.
- Provide data visualizations of troubleshooting efforts to internal stakeholders.
- Own or actively participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure accurate system documentation and backup libraries.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment with integral colleagues.
What You'll Need
- Relevant experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.
- Experience supporting various conveyors and sortation systems.
- Experience with material handling, flow and capacity visualization, and monitoring.
- Proficiency with at least one of the following: Microsoft Office,
project management tools, EPLAN, Ladder Logic/structured programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Codesys), Ignition SCADA or similar HMI, fieldbus networks (EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus, AS-i), VFDs, safety gateways, and input/output devices.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Spanish.
- A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial electronics, or another technical subject is preferred.
