Overview As a Systems Engineer, you will take technical ownership of the CELESTE IOP programme or its sub-projects, shaping the end-to-end architecture of the LEO navigation system. You will manage requirements, ensure cross‑disciplinary consistency, and lead technical reviews with ECSS standards. You will work closely with ESA and stakeholders to mitigate risks and drive system coherence. This role offers hands-on influence over a major space navigation initiative with broad impact.

Responsabilidades
Lead systems engineering for the assigned CELESTE IOP programme or sub-programme Define and maintain the LEO navigation system architecture (space segment, signals, links, ground segment, users) Manage system requirements: definition, breakdown, traceability, verification Ensure technical consistency between payload, platform, navigation, ground segment,
and operations Coordinate system performance analyses Lead or contribute to technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) per ECSS standards Identify and manage technical risks and design trade-offs Oversee preparation of technical documentation and system models Liaise with ESA and stakeholders on key technical aspects
Requisitos principales
Experience in systems engineering applied to complex space systems Solid knowledge of GNSS and navigation signals Experience in defining system architecture (space, ground and user) Knowledge of ECSS standards and space project life cycles Experience in requirements management and associated tools Knowledge of orbital dynamics and fundamentals of satellite constellations High level of English (spoken and written) Stakeholder liaison Cross-functional collaboration Analytical problem solving GNSS and navigation signals System architecture definition (space, ground, user) ECSS standards and space project lifecycles
